Playing Favorites

If I had to pick a favorite casita it might be Casa Felix.

Although I do love the private outdoor patio on Casa Momo. I find myself sequestering over there when the casitas is vacant because it is a very cozy, intimate and has great views of the courtyard plants and flowers.

What I love about Casa Felix is the simplicity. This is the one casita that we have left original. Aside from swapping out the bathroom mirror, repairing the toilet and giving it a mini face-lift with a new front door the finishes, details and design of the casita are completely original.

I found myself in there the other day adding some flowers before guests arrived and as I turned the corner into the bathroom I was pleasantly surprised by the tile and rug that were visually flirting with each other. So different but yet completely complimentary. Old things have a way of just working together you know?
