Casa Momo Details
Hard to believe we still have not had our property professionally photographed. I have been waiting for some professional styled and shot photos to update the website but alas, here we are with some from my iPhone and a few notes on this specific casita.
Casa Momo patio
Casa Momo is the original structure on the property. A family built this home nearly 40 years ago as their main residence. The rest of the property was used as a campground, another story for another time!
This casita is a modest space with two rooms and a bathroom.
The larger of the two rooms we use as the bedroom with a queen bed, twin daybed and a small table for games or a meal. Connected to this space is the small but mighty kitchen and the bathroom.
Off of the kitchen is the outdoor covered patio that serves as a fantastic outdoor living room.
In 2021 during our renovation we used Casa Momo as our kitchen and family space. While Casa Felix was where we slept each night. We got a lot of use out of the covered patio at Casa Momo and ate most of our meals there. It was after living in the space we decided to turn what was just a window into the new patio doors, bridging the spaces and inviting the outdoors in and vice versa.
Casa Momo is best suited for an individual who wants to cook their meals at home or wants access to a fridge and kitchen. But also works great for a couple or small family. We have a crib available for anyone traveling with a baby or toddler. Just ask.
